Where is Palestine, and why are Palestinians unhappy with their lot?

Once upon a time there was a place called Palestine, a land of milk & honey written about in a book called The Bible. This ended in 1948 when Ben-Gurion declared the creation of the State of Israel. Palestine was then flooded with Jews from Europe, later USA and other countries. These immigrants kicked the Palestinians out of their homes, off their farms and out of Palestine. Now the Palestinians are imprisoned in The Gaza Strip, a foul strip of desert between Israel & Egypt, or have been forced out to the west of The River Jordan. However even that is not enough for the Israelis, they keep expanding into the West Bank territory and creating settlements there and every couple of years the Israelis have a turkey shoot, except it's not turkeys they're shooting.

I started this webpage in 2002, and have added to it, so, where incomplete, some of my dates might seem confusing.

Another update, 12 May 2021

The Israelis are having another phase of atrocities. The present problems started because Israel has decided to force Palestinians living in Jerusalem out of their homes so that Israelis can have them. The Palestinians in Jerusalem protested so the Israeli military came out in force against the protesters. Soon three Palestinians were killed. After those killings Hamas fired some rockets in Israel. In spite of reportedly hundreds of rockets being fired, only three Israelis were reported killed. Israel responded by sending bomber aircraft into Gaza to kill Palestinians. Yesterday the Israelis killed 9 children and 13 adults in Gaza. At the moment news reports say that 38 Palestinians have been killed by the Israelis and three Israelis killed. How many more Palestinians will the Israelis kill?

Friday 14th May 2021. This morning I read in The Guardian that 8 Israelis have been killed and 119 Palestinians have been killed. That isn't enough to satisfy the Israelis. The Israeli military are are reported as massing on border and shelling Palestinians and their homes before they get down to the serious job of killing Palestinians.

It is simple to see who are the evil terrorists, who are the goodies and who are the baddies. The Israelis force Palestinians out of the homes their family has lived in for decades, and in the West Bank, off their farms, so that the homes and farms can be taken over by Israelis. That is not right.

Whenever there are protests about such Israeli actions the Israelis start killing the Palestinians. Check for yourself the number of Israelis killed and the number of Palestinains killed.
(A couple of hours ago a second high-rise residential block in Gaza was reported as having been levelled by an Israeli war plane, so more killings will need to be added.)

Israel is the world's nastiest terrorist state since Nazi Germany, (apart from the USA actions in My Lai, Vietnam, when US soldiers massacred 500 unarmed villagers). USA always supports the Israeli atrocities, it even gives the Israelis the aircraft and other weapons for killing Palestinians. Now the USA is blocking UN from criticising Israel. UK politicians and media usually support Israel. Ironic, isn't it?

Update
Sunday 16th May 2021. The latest death toll that I can find gives 10 Israelis killed, and 145 Palestinians, including 41 children, killed.
Monday 17th May 2021. 10 Israelis killed, 188 Plaestinians, including 55 children and 33 women killed, and Netanyahu wants to kill more.
Thursday 20th May. 12 Israelis kiled and 227 Palestinians reported killed.

Another update, 30 March 2019

This morning I heard a snippet on the BBC radio news saying that there is a protest along the border by Palestinians to mark the anniversary of the border protests. Included in the news it said that in the past year 200 of these Palestinians had been shot dead by the Israelis, and that one Israeli had been killed. In the past I have read that international jornalists and medical workers observing the protests had also been shot by Isaeli snipers. I don't know if they were included in the 200 killed.

July 2014 - The same old story, Israeli atrocities against Palestinians

The terrible murder of three Israeli youths has given the Israelis an excuse to continue their slaughter of Palestinians. They have neither produced nor cited evidence that Hamas was involved. (Now, 1st Aug., the Israelis admit they weren't killed by Hamas.) Following this, Israelis seized a Palestinian youth and killed him by burning him alive.

Although Israel, US and a few other countries readily say Hamas is a terrorist organisation, it must be remembered that Hamas was the democratically elected government of Gaza, after Israel destabilised the government of Yasser Arafat.

Around New Year 2009 Israel killed 400 children and 900 adults in Gaza. This was because some people in Gaza had fired simple rockets into Israel. Throughout 2008, prior to the Israeli atrocities, those rockets had not killed anyone in Israel.

Israelis Slaughter Palestinians

In 22 days over New Year 2009 Israeli snipers and tanks killed 400 Palestinian children, (and 900 adults). What sort of people are these Israelis, snipers deliberately kill children and tank commanders fire shells into family apartments when they see people living there? It reminds me of the Nazis in Warsaw, 1939. They are as bad as Hitler's SS.

Up to 00:30hrs, 21 Nov. 2012 - Israelis have killed 139 Palestinians, including, at least, 24 children. 5 Israelis have been killed.

The Israeli elections are two months away so Mr Netanyahu is buying votes with Palestinian lives.

Summary of the Israeli atrocities in Palestine.
In 2008, up to 27th Dec., the home-made rockets that Hamas fired into Israel killed no-one. In return the Israelis killed 400 children and 900 adults in Gaza. After the Israeli attacks, Hamas rockets killed 3 Israeli civilians. The Israelis shelled clearly designated UN schools sheltering civilians and used white phosphorus against civilians, both of these actions are war crimes. USA supplied, free, the aircraft, helicopter gunships, missiles, bombs and bullets for these attacks and block any international condemnation of Israel in UN.

People who are really evil are few and far between, and so it is with nations. By being evil I mean people or states who choose to indiscriminately kill, imprison, torture and inflict severe physical and mental pressures on others. Examples are Nazi Germany in the 1940's and the Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia in the 1970's. There are states and organisations in Africa and one or two other places that are evil, they slaughter anyone that comes in their way as they try to gain their desires.

And so it is with Israel and U.S.A. In order to gain land for themselves the Israelis have driven the Palestinians from Palestine, from their farms, from their homes and they kill the Palestinians who object. What sort of people are these Israelis, who, when seeing a child's face look out of a window, instead of raising their hand and giving it a friendly wave they raised their gun and blew the child's brains out. Or, if there was a family in the room a tank commander would swing around the tank's gun and blast the whole family, father, mother and children, into tattered body parts. This is not exaggeration, 400 children in Gaza were killed by the Israelis in a two week campaign.

The U.S.A., whose presidents depend upon the votes and influence of Jews in New York who support Israel, have always been ready to give the Israelis the weapons to enable them pursue this evil. In effect US foreign policy is determined by Israel. To support the Israelis the US blocks any attempt in U.N. by other nations to stop or condemn this evil.

The U.S.A. is evil in its own right. Its invasion of Iraq, which brought about the death of hundreds of thousands of Iraqis was nothing more than an attempt to gain control of Iraqi oil. The US government distorted its laws and ignored international laws to allow it to imprison and torture any Iraqi, anyone, they wished. It was the same in Vietnam, only then over 2 million Vietnamese died.

Quite simply Israel and U.S.A. are evil just as Nazi Germany and the Khmer Rouge were before them.


Yesterday, as I wrote that, the Israelis were firing tank shells into a U.N. school in which civilians were sheltering. At least 40 were killed and another 55 wounded. As I said, Israel and America who provided them with the weapons are evil terrorist states.

Once again I am ashamed to be British. As the world is horrified by the slaughter of hundreds of Palestinians in Gaza by the Israelis the British Government refuses to condemn the slaughter, or even ask the Israelis to stop the slaughter. Where is Tony Blair, George Bush's tame Peace Envoy? Perhaps he's too busy making money to buy one more fancy house, or in the confessional at his church.

In Britain, on Guy Fawkes Night, (Nov. 5th), there were more casualties from fireworks than there has been all year in Israel from Hamas rockets. In 2008 not one Israeli was killed by these Hamas rockets before the Israelis started killing the Palestinians. (If any Zionist wishes to correct that please send me a list of the deaths of Israelis due to these rockets.) This destruction and killing is nothing to do with Hamas fireworks, it is an attempt to destroy the civil infrastructure of Gaza. Look at the buildings destroyed, the interior ministry, police headquarters, mosques and a university. Several years ago they did the same with Fatah and in doing so created public support for Hamas which brought about the democratically elected Hamas government.

Gaza is the worlds biggest prison camp. Israel controls the borders and all that is allowed in and out of this foul, barren desert strip. Recently they have been restricting food, medicine and fuel such that there is extensive hardship and malnutrition in Gaza. Now The Israelis seem to have decided it is simpler to kill the Palestinians with bombs & missiles provided for that purpose by USA. For the Israelis it is like shooting fish in a barrel. The Israelis seem to accept that Hitler knew how to deal with unwanted people, perhaps Gaza should be re-named Auschwitz.

What sort of moral code justifies this slaughter by the Israelis and its approval by the US and UK governments?

I feel I should be updating my website with details of the latest incidents in Palestine and Lebanon, but it's just the same as before. The Israelis destroying and killing while America supplies them with billions of $$ worth of bombs, missiles and aircraft. Israel has devastated Gaza and Lebanon, destroying the infrastructure and killing many hundreds of people, most of who are women and children. They are also targeting UN observers and Red Cross ambulances as well as convoys of civilian refugees trying to escape the bombing. These actions are undoubtedly war crimes. War crimes, does it matter, the USA will veto any criticism of Israel made in UN. Check out this BBC website to see what the Israelis have destroyed. Don't be misled by the Israeli talk of the rockets, home-made fireworks, fired by Hizbollah, they have killed less than 20 civilians compared to the several hundred Palestinians and Lebanese killed by the Israelis in the past few days.

What started this? The Israelis, who have over 10,000 Palestinians & Lebanese held in prison camps, feel that it OK for them to devastate Gaza and Lebanon because Hamas has one Israeli prisoner and Hizbollah has two. I wondered if this was to be a smokescreen allowing the Israelis to bomb Iran, so far it hasn't been. I'm not much into countries having nuclear bombs but with such a belligerent Israel and USA who can blame Iran for wanting nuclear weapons to protect it's people.

America is flying in more laser guided bombs, missiles and other weaponry as fast as Israel can use them. Sadly the USA/Israel Axis of Evil has been supported by the British Government which has allowed the aircraft carrying these shipments of bombs and missiles to refuel in UK. Even Bush's poodle Tony Blair has become a supporter of America's far right neo-cons. I see that Blair doesn't want a cease-fire, he wants the Israelis to have a more time to kill more Palestinians & Lebanese and to destroy more of the infrastructure before there is a cease-fire. I can not understand how British Members of Parliament who had humanitarian political attitudes in the 1980's have been so ready to support Bush's destruction and killings in the Middle East. I am ashamed of the British Government.


Update, 31st July 2006
When I added the section above about the killings by Israel being the same old story I didn't realise how right I was. In 1996 The Israelis massacred 105 Lebanese civilians who were sheltering in a UN compound in Qana. Yesterday the Israelis used a laser precision-guided bomb to kill approximately 60 civilians, including 34 children who were sheltering in a building in Qana.

Bush and his lap-dog Blair have repeatedly made it clear that they didn't want a ceasefire, they wanted the Israelis to have more time to continue their killing.

Well, Tony, you got what you wanted. Are you happy now? And you British Labour MP's, you supported Blair throughout his lies and killing in Iraq, you let this evil genie out of the bottle, how much longer will you support his far-right, neo-con, murderous policies?


Terrorism in Palestine

  • In the 18 months, up to 1st May, 2002, Israeli terrorists have killed approximately 1,200, Palestinians, (now probably 1,600 - 1,800, up to 12th May 2002). They have used American tanks, American helicopter gunships, American warplanes, and American missiles against civilians.

    In the same period, in response to the Israeli killings, Palestinian suicide bombers have killed approximately 200 Israelis.

  • Ariel Sharon oversaw the slaughter of over 800 Palestinian civilians, mostly women & children, in the Sabra and Chatilla refugee camps in South Beirut in 1982.

  • In Jenin the Israeli army used bulldozers to crush house in which civilians sheltered, the Israelis used civilians as human shields when they attacked Palestinians and checked for booby traps. These acts fall within the definition of war crimes.

  • Israel has developed weapons of mass destruction and has over 200 nuclear weapons, and the USA has done nothing about it.

  • The government of U.S.A. has funded and still funds and arms the Israeli terrorists. This year, 2002, USA government is giving Israel $2,000,000,000 in military aid, that's an awful lot of tanks, helicopter gunships, warplanes, missiles etc.etc. that's an awful lot of dead Palestinians, and that's nothing compared the previous years.

A Conservative Total for U.S. Aid to Israel: $91 Billion and Counting

 I have not added any information on the amount of military aid that USA gives to Israel for several years, but today but today, (21st July 2014), I came across a link in The Gruardian to some current military aid data that is in in Washington Report. Now the aid to Israel has mounted to $130 billion.

U.S.A. Attitude to Democracy and Chemical Weapons

If you get bored seeing the Israelis using American helicopter gunships, American warplanes and American tanks to kill civilians in Palestine you could check out the US attitude to democracy, try Google and search for:

where 'xxx' & 'yyy' are anything that interests you, try, Chile, Indonesia, Timor, Nicaragua etc. etc. In the past 50 years the government of USA has deliberately de-stabilised democratically elected governments, has funded and armed terrorists in many countries, etc. etc. I could go on and list lots of appalling acts perpertrated by USA. You will be more convinced if you do the search and find the facts yourself.
Do you think the current government is any different? What will the declassified documents say in decades to come?


Another interesting exercise with Google is to try and find out how many people were killed due to the USA intervention in Vietnam, and why USA thought that their deaths were appropriate.
I came up with 2,100,000 Vietnamese and 58,200 Americans being killed. I couldn't find any acceptable reason why they should have been butchered, perhaps you are better with Google than I am.

Don't get angry with me because the Department of Defense's Joint Non-Lethal Weapons Directorate is operating an illegal and classified chemical weapons program, I'm just pointing you to the facts.

If you have some facts to show that Sharon wasn't The Butcher of Beirut, that America isn't funding and supplying the weapons to Israel, if you can show that the U.S.A. has a consistent policy on Terrorism, Weapons of Mass Destruction, and Democracy, please tell me, I'd much prefer to believe that.

O.K. - My Personal View

If I was Jewish or American I would be greatly ashamed of Israeli terrorism and America facilitating it. It's not about racial or national solidarity, it's about morality, and the Israeli actions, and American support are immoral by any standard, just like the Nazis, and more recently the Serbs, before them. If someone handed a knife to a known murderer, then stood by and watched him kill someone, he too would be guilty of murder, and so it is with U.S.A. and Israel.

How have the Israelis have managed to hijack the government of U.S.A.'s foreign policy and foreign aid?
Even though I did not support the destruction of the WTC, in any way, and I still do not, I can now understand why some Palestinians, Arabs, and Moslems feel such action is justifiable.

I am disappointed with Britain, Europe and UN's ineffectiveness on these key issues. As the butchery continues my views are slowly becoming less pacifist. Surely it is time for Europe, Middle Eastern countries and the rest of the world to supply anti-tank and anti-helicopter weapons to the Palestinians so that they can defend themselves from these land-grabbing Israeli terrorists.

In the middle of the last century, Jews had no right of response when we were vilified and attacked by your ideological soulmates, but those days are long gone. The only thing I can say to you is that you are obviously very poorly educated, as you seem to have all your facts wrong.

With regards to Jenin, there was no massacre there, even though many British newspaper called it that. There has been no evidence at all of mass killings that you say there were. Israel army were surrounding Palestinian militants who are responsible of the murder of many Israelis.

The reason that I am writing to you, is not only because I am in disgust and appalled, but because you are completely wrong and believe that if your are to design a website, you should only put the truth on it, and not fill it will lies and propaganda.

I think you should do some background and get your facts straight.

So you are saying my facts are wrong.

Are you saying USA is not giving $2,000 million to Israel for military aid this year? You are wrong. It is very easily checked out, the US government foreign aid budget is public information.

Are you saying that Ariel Sharon did not oversee the massacres in Sabra & Chatilla? The Israeli government had an enquiry and established that he did.

Are you saying that the Israelis have not killed approaching 1,800 Palestinians in the past 19 months? The exact number is unknown but before Israel invaded Palestine, this time, the undisputed figure was around 1,200. All the evidence since the Israeli invasion suggests that the figure is now around 1,800

Are you saying that Israel does not have nuclear weapons? If you say that, you are wrong.

Are you saying that the Israeli killers in Jenin did not use bulldozers to flatten houses with people inside them? If so you are wrong. The evidence is there for all to see, the Israeli killers admit they did.

Tell me, why does Israel not want a UN enquiry into the Israeli actions in Jenin. The reason is because they are guilty of war crimes and they are trying to prevent the evidence being collected and being made official by United Nations.

Sadly, Claudia, my facts are not wrong, I wish they were.

I differentiate between the views of Jews and Israelis. Are you are suggesting that Israeli views and Jewish views are the the same. I would be very disapointed to find there is no distinction. I can not believe that a race could change from being opressed to being butcher so easily. I believe you do Jewish people a great injustice.

My Reply

My objective is very simple, it is to contibute to the effort to reduce the slaughter, maiming, torture, impoverishment, degredation and humiliation of all people in the world.

My website aims to encourage people to search for the facts behind the current problems in Palestine.

I hope that if more people understand the facts about the brutality of the Israeli, Sharon regime and how it is funded by the U.S.A. then they might apply pressure upon their politicians and bring about changes which would reduce these barbaric activities.

As long as Israelis drive Palestinians from Palestine, so that they can re-settle fellow Jews from Europe, Russia, America etc. then the Palestinians will fight back whatever way they can, who would not? If an invader came to England and killed my fellow countrymen and drove us out of our homes then I too would fight back, whatever way I could. If Israel stopped driving Palestinians out of their homelands and killing thousands of them in the process, then the Palestinians would have no reason to fight back.

I do not have up to date accurate figures, but it appears to me, that in the last few years, for every Israeli killed by the Palestinians seven or eight Palestinians are killed by Israelis. At it's simplest, the Palestinian terrorists are brutal, but the Israelis are eight times more brutal.

Hi C.E.,

The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs claim "only 95 houses were destroyed", the Palestinians say many times that were destroyed.

I personally have seen detailed satellite images of Jenin which very clearly suggest that many more than 95 houses were destroyed.

If this is the quality of the information that you have your views are not worth considering. Quite simply, you don't know what you are talking about.

In Feb 2007 I received this email from C.E., in Australia saying,

I purely do not want the first google hit of my name to go to your website which I was not informed the email would be posted."

I have therefore substituted his full name for his initials. I have left his message because it shows how easily some people are misled into believing that the Israelis are not really that bad.

Here's something that you might like to add that shows the utter contempt that Israel has for the USA! 3 years ago, Samuel Sheinbein, an American jew, beheaded a 19 year old Christian boy in Maryland. He then fled to the waiting arms of Israel. Even though Samuel had never before set foot on Israeli soil, the Israeli supreme court immediately declared him an Israeli citizen and refused America's request to extradite him. There are 2 things wrong here: Firstly is Israel declaring him a citizen, merely because he is jewish. Secondly, so what if he IS an Israeli citizen... He committed murder in the US - he should have to face American justice. Instead of facing the death penalty in Maryland, Samuel is in a minimum security prison in Israel and is up for parole in 6 years.

By the way - I'm not an Arab, Moslem, etc.. Just an American who is embarassed about my country's participation in the ethnic cleansing in Palestine.
